Happy New Year! Another year is upon us and with it comes new challenges. I welcome 2008 as an opportunity that brings us one year closer to the future. And one year closer to the end.

Open your mind . . .

Open your mind and consider the possibilities.
What if God created all the different religions and all the different religious beliefs for a reason ? Without any one religion being "right" or "wrong".

What if Catholicism was as "correct" as Judism ? What if Muslims were as "right" as Christians ? What if the reason for all the diversity is beyond our understanding ? What if there is a purpose to the variations in different faiths ?

They can't all be right. They can't all be wrong either.

Ten days into the new year . . .

It is now ten days into the year 2007. So far it is a GREAT year ! I hope it stays that way for another 355 days !

Many people have new years resolutions. Not many people are able to see their resolutions thru to reality. Mine were simple ones:

1) To be successful on my own terms. Not successful as measured by others.

2 To be on "MY SCHEDULE" for 2007. Not the schedule of others.

If those sound selfish to you, then perhaps you are a victim of the materialistic & image based world that so many people fall prey to.

HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Well, it is January 1, 2007. The start of another new year. The start of a good year ! For many it is a time for new beginings. A time of resolutions. For some it could be the start of a GREAT year.

However, let's keep in mind that nothing changes without us changing it. If we all keep doing what we've always done, we will keep getting what we've always gotten.

You see . . . "Until something changes, . . . nothing changes."

Success and failure are on the same road. One is just a little further.

People Come & Go . . .

People come into and out of lives all the time. Some make a lasting impression, while others we never give a second thought. Those that we truly care about remain in our memories and in our hearts forever. Some we wish that we could forget. Some we wish we never knew.

Some cause us to do incredible things. Some cause us to do drastic things. Some can make us feel great, while others can make us feel bad.

One thing is for sure, those that make us the happiest can also make us the saddest .
