The Results Are In . . .

Election Day 2006 has come and gone. Once again only about 48% of the U.S. population showed up to vote. The remaining 52% stayed at home and complained about our government.

Election Day 2006

Today is election day. A day that many Americans take for granted. A day that Americans have the opportunity to truly voice their opinion by taking action. By voting, Americans can send a clear message that will be heard by government officials and those individuals that hold public office.

The message could be one of "A job well done". Or it could be a message of disapproval.

And yet with such a powerful vehicle, so many U.S. citizens choose not to exercise their right to vote.
